Objective:
To introduce Grade 1 students to vocabulary related to toys, and to practice using the phrases "Is it a _____?" and responses "No, it isn't" or "Yes, it is."

Activity: Question and Answer Game
In this activity, students will practice identifying toys using the question "Is it a _____?" and responding with "No, it isn't" or "Yes, it is."
Materials:
- Flashcards with images of the toys (ball, car, doll, robot, plane, yo-yo, kite, balloon)
Procedure:
- Introduce the vocabulary words using the flashcards, discussing each toy briefly.
- Explain the question-and-answer format to the students: "Is it a _____?" "No, it isn't" or "Yes, it is."
- Show a flashcard and ask the class, "Is it a [toy]?"
- Encourage the students to respond and provide feedback.
- Repeat with different flashcards, ensuring each student has a chance to participate.
Assessment:
Observe the students' ability to correctly identify the toys and use the question-and-answer format accurately.
Follow-Up:
Review the vocabulary in subsequent lessons and introduce more complex sentences or additional toy-related vocabulary.
